Manual Physical Therapy / Myofascial Release
For those who have sustained a recent injury or experienced an exacerbation of a chronic problem that is causing a decline in function, a course of manual therapy may be beneficial.

We first begin with an assessment including any of the following: posture, range of motion, strength, gait, soft tissue tensions, biomechanics and/or alignment. An individualized treatment plan is then decided.

Treatment involves a holistic approach - one that clients often report is very different than what they have received previously. It may include myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, integrated manual therapy, basic exercises, posture or gait training. Lifestyle, stress management, and self care may also be discussed. Each session is individualized and you have focused care for 45-60 minutes.

The goal is to reduce pain and inflammation, support healing, restore motion and function. These treatments are intended to be short duration with a transition to a home program.

Joyce is not an insurance provider. This allows her to focus solely on helping each client without the limitations and demands imposed by insurance companies. Payment is received at the time of service ($110). You may, however, be able to use your Health Savings Plan or submit a superbill to your insurance for full or partial reimbursement (non- Medicare/Medicaid only).
